Frijid Pink - s/t 1970

Formed in the Detroit area in 1967, they released a couple of singles (both in '69) but failed to catch on. Signed to Parrot Records, they scored a top 40 hit with their fuzzed out cover of "House of the Rising Sun" which was featured on their first eponymous L.P. It reached the top 10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and sold over a million copies, earning them a gold disc. It also peaked at no.4 on th U.K Singles chart, and #3 in the Canadian RPA charts.
They released 12 singles and 5 L.P.'s before their demise in 1975.
