Grand Funk - Grand Funk 1969

An American blues rock band, Grand Funk Railroad was mega popular in the 70's, touring extensively and playing packed arenas worldwide. David Fricke of Rolling Stone magazine once said "you can not talk about the 70's without mentioning Grand Funk Railroad!" Known for their crowd pleasing arena rock style, the band was well regarded by audiences despite a relative lack of critical acclaim. The bands name is a play on words of the Grand Trunk Western Railroad, a railroad line that ran through the band's hometown of Flint, Michigan.
